18 Mar Pharaon robot used by older people at Poncemar Day Center

The Pharaon RB1 robot by Robotnik has been tested in the Poncemar Day Center in Spain to promote active and healthy ageing through digital solutions in real environments. The objective was to explore new uses for the robot within a social and health center. The robot has been used within the daily operations of the Day Center, acting as accompaniment in cognitive stimulation projects, in meals, during breaks, to support gymnastics and physical therapy, and played an important role in intergenerational activities. Attempts were further made to develop the robots potential for mobility and remote connection. Watch the video below to learn more!
