At the AIOTI Days in Brussels on 24-25 September 2024 in Brussels, Filippo Cavallo, University of Florence and Pharaon coordinator, chaired a workshop showcasing the latest outcomes of the Pharaon project. The focus was on the implementation of a federated multi-level architecture and the technical specifications stemming from a needs analysis involving over 500 stakeholders across 5 European countries. The Pharaon project implemented its architecture and technologies through a carefully structured interoperability strategy. Initially, it involved the development of the Pharaon Ecosystem Hub, which served as an interoperability framework for integrating pilots in a federated scheme within the overall project ecosystem. Next, the Pharaon data model was created to standardize data structures and facilitate seamless exchange. In addition, the strategy highlights the importance of providing specialized tools and guidelines designed to enhance technical interoperability, thus simplifying the integration and deployment of pilots within the Pharaon ecosystem. Field tests of Pharaon technologies and services have been conducted in pilot programs involving nearly 3,000 stakeholders. Preliminary impact results and outcomes from these pilots will be presented during this session, in conjunction with a specific exploitation in permanent pilots coming from the Tuscany Health Ecosystem.

The workshop provided the opportunity to share Pharaon outcomes and create synergies with interested members of the Alliance for IoT and Edge Computing Innovation.
