11 Oct Diputación de Jaén “International Information Forum on the European project PharA-ON: Technology at the service of the elderly”,

The 6yh October 2021, the First Vice President and Deputy for Equality and Social Welfare, Francisca Medina, inaugurated the “International Information Forum on the European project PharA-ON: Technology at the service of the elderly”, where the main aspects will be addressed around which this European initiative revolves in which the Diputación de Jaén participates with an economic contribution of about 204,000 euros

This forum, which has been held online, has the participation of nine European experts in the field of social intervention, research, gerontology and applied technology, who will discuss the use of new technologies to fight against the loneliness of the elderly ”, pointed out the first vice president.

Throughout the two days during which this event will take place, “issues such as praxis in the face of loneliness of the elderly, the digitization of social services in the face of isolation, intelligent environments, health and , specifically, electronic health, artificial intelligence applied to the care and care of the elderly, as well as the challenges of the digital and gender divide in the context of loneliness ”, Medina has enumerated.
