07 Mar Training and evaluation day in Andalusia

The Andalusian pilot organized a training and evaluation day on 4 March 2022 at the Technology Park GEOLIT in Mengíbar, Jaén, Spain.

The action research evaluation methodology was shared with the 30 social service workers that participated. This deepened there understanding of the evaluation instruments that will be applied in the pilot, the further proceedings and how data will be collected. An emphasis was put on the need for evaluators to adapt to each older person’s individual situation. This will help participants feel more comfortable and secure, increasing the reliability of their responses. At the end of Pharaon’s Andalusian pilot, some 425 people over 65 years will have benefited from it.

The day was closed by the first Vice President of the Provincial Deputation of Jaén and Deputy of Equality and Social Welfare, Francisca Medina.
